Job Responsibilities

• Engage with Commercial and Product Management functions to collect and discuss requirements and solutions
• Support or own the creation/development of service scenarios and component, including Yang/Tosca models, artifacts, code snippets, etc.
• Keep up-to-date on latest technologies, trends and relevant vendors on modern software defined network modelling and development
• Present solution to technical and not technical audience and run know-how transfer sessions
• Ability to continuously learn and grow in both technical and soft skills areas
• Develop and nurture a growth and solution driven mindset
• Design and build components and end to end SDWAN/NFV solutions
• Application & SW engineering with focus in all areas of advanced network systems
• Customizing SW and implementing to 3rd party physical and virtual environments
• Introducing new features and concepts into carrier networks
• Ensure the design and development embrace Vodafone technology model, methodology and standards

Job Requirements

• Review technical documents from suppliers that underpin the solution and support delivery teams to align activities to product solution
• To deliver products on time and to budget, meeting the key business and customer outcomes
• Ensure Vodafone Customers benefit from the latest technological advances to get the best possible customer experience and identifying opportunities for innovation of the product portfolio
• Create software and documentation for product/solution for the assigned areas
• Review of functional requirements in line with desired customer functions/solutions
• Support overall product strategy for Connectivity services as part of system architecture & integration
• Review and refine end to end service models
• Experience in working in virtual and multinational teams, with proven record of delivering goals in matrix organisations
• Ability to manage multiple & changing priorities and follow-up until delivered.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Must have core expertise in a good number of topics on network infrastructures enabling Systems and Tools applicable to the SDN and NFV market
• Solid understanding of SW development, devops approach
