We are seeking an ambitious, creative and analytical growth leader to spearhead marketing for Venmo’s holistic B2B portfolio. In this role, you will define and lead the execution of performance and brand marketing campaigns to engage our SMB and Enterprise audiences. You will be accountable for the overall revenue growth of our B2B portfolio, driving acquisition, engagement and customer lifetime value. You’ll define innovative, break-through marketing across all channels – paid media, brand activations, lifecycle marketing, and partnerships – and in doing so, you’ll have the opportunity to re-imagine and invent the future of B2B marketing at Venmo. With over 75M customers, you will directly impact millions of lives as you support our community of businesses on Venmo. Job Responsibilities:

  • Define the holistic B2B marketing strategy for Venmo, articulating target market, customer insights, brand positioning, and end-to-end roadmap to drive revenue growth
  • Lead and manage the execution of integrated cross-channel marketing strategy to deliver growth and engagement for Venmo’s B2B / Commerce portfolio, including Business Profiles, Venmo Pay and QRC
  • Define goals for awareness, acquisition, trial and habituation, collaborating closely with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure we are hitting targets. Strong analytics and modeling experience is a must
  • Build integrated marketing strategy, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of plans, how we’ll execute and how activities will drive our forecast
  • Lead content strategy, partnering with creative and design teams to bring breakthrough creative and storytelling to market across our owned, earned and paid channels
  • Manage budget and analytics framework to drive marketing efficiency, ensuring leadership has a clear understanding of marketing ROI and incremental value
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to shape the product and growth engineering roadmap to increase Venmo network effects and conversion
  • Direct and manage cross-functional teams (internal and agency) to deliver seamless execution across channels and touchpoints. Strong project management, communication and leadership skills is a must
  • Partner with product marketing team to develop messaging, value prop and competitive differentiation for all marketing campaigns

Job Requirements:

  • Senior Marketing Leader 10+ years experience, 5+ experience in leadership role
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals; Ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups and effectively utilize

  • Experience running high-profile campaigns across a diverse range of channels, and within a rapidly evolving business environment – you have implemented game changing ideas that have changed the course of businesses and brands
  • Strong analytical thinker with proven ability to translate data into creative, results-oriented marketing strategies
  • Outstanding Communications: can partner, influence and thrive in a global matrixed organization with an ability to present to stakeholders with gravitas and confidence
  • Commercial Owner experience in budget and P&L accountabilities, linkage of investment to growth strategies
  • Customer Champion with demonstrated track record in designing marketing solutions with customer at center
  • Proven team transformation experience in hiring, retaining and coaching a team for peak performance
  • Brand transformation track record in the creation, transformation of a beloved global/regional brand
  • Financial Services experience (debit and credit card) highly valued
  • Strong sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Demonstrated empathetic, collaborative, and flexible working style in high-pressure, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment
