Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and publish in the field of Organisational Psychology
  • Departmental and faculty administration; and
  • Facilitate teaching and learning in the courses offered by the Section of Organisational Psychology
  • Undertake postgraduate supervision
  • Contribute to an inclusive team/departmental environment

Job Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Organisational Psychology
  • A PhD in Organisational Psychology or related field
  • A proven record as an established researcher, supported by publications in accredited journals
  • Successful supervision of postgraduate students
  • Evidence of excellent teaching and course development across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • Proven experience in leadership or the coordination of academic programmes and staff
  • Registration or eligibility to register as an Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal skills
