We are looking for a self-motivated individual with proven retail management experience and the ability to work within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This focused and experienced retail professional, must share our commitment to fashion, quality and customer service excellence and will assist in maximizing turnover and profits; controlling expenses within budget and improving the visual appeal and customer service of all stores based in his/her area.

Job Responsibilities:

• The incumbent will be responsible for the multi-store management of 6 – 8 Truworths stores.
• This highly focused and experienced retail professional, must share our commitment to fashion, quality and customer service excellence and will assist in maximizing turnover and profits, controlling expenses within budget and improving the visual appeal and customer service of all stores based in his/her area.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Area Manager of multiple stores
• Matric (A business related qualification will be an advantage)
• Strong retail business acumen and trader mentality
• Target and turnover driven, while being security conscious
• Solutions focused problem solving skills
• Good administration, planning and time management skills
• Excellent people management and IR skills
• Good interviewing and recruitment skills
• Strong leadership, training and coaching skills – able to motivate and inspire
• Energetic, self-motivated and resilient with a flair for fashion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (computer literate)
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and fashion
• Customer centric
