Job Description:

Responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of a shift in the Finished Goods Warehouse.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate through hand-over book
• Control Forklift fleet
• Must implement, perform and maintain good distribution practices
• Plan the day according to loading plan
• Manage stock rotation
• Manage and minimize waste write offs and product damages
• Management of Health & Safety standards in warehouse
• Compliance to all policies and procedures of Tiger Brands
• Management of discipline in warehouse
• Effective management of available human resources
• Daily management of on hold product
• Ensuring alignment of NCR tracker vs Oracle
• Transfer of on Hold product to correct sub inventory
• Coordinating of the rework product

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Matric and or relevant tertiary qualification or studying towards a supply chain management and/or Financial Management qualification
• 2 – 3 years’ experience in Warehouse and Distribution environment
• PC literate – MS office, NT Windows and MS Outlook
• Knowledge of vegetable processing will be an advantage
