Job Description:

You are responsible for the control of all incoming materials and custodian of measuring and testing equipment /methods. You handle non-conforming materials and continuous improvement

Job Responsibilities:

• Custodian of materials specifications
• Control incoming materials ( accept or reject)
• Implement sampling plans and testing methods
• Manage material retention and reference samples
• Identify non-conforming materials (making a disposition decision)
• Raise non-conformances, communicate to supplier and procurement
• Drive non-conformance closure
• Manage validation, calibration and verification  of measurement and testing equipment
• Ensure that only validated methods are used
• Drive GLP’s
• Participate in/or develop proficiency testing  schemes
• Ensure adherence to sampling, handling and testing schedules
• Interpret results (accept or reject)
• Provide professional opinion in case of non-conforming results, where required
• Raise non-conformance and communicate to processing .manufacturing/site quality manager /lead
• Analyse test results of materials and trend data to identify CI opportunities
• Verify measurement and testing equipment data for trend to identify CI opportunities
• Drive quality continuous improvement programs
