An exciting opportunity has arisen in the RELAY Division for an Operations Manager, with excellent entrepreneurial skills and merchant thinking, as well as a strong retail orientation to drive performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that merchandise standards are maintained
• Active involvement in the development of new, revamped or relocated stores
• Achieving great results by focusing on the customer journey Inspiring our employees to build a better future
• Leading, managing, motivating and developing the team Initiating and monitoring action to increase the profitability
• Ensuring that merchandise opportunities are maximised both in terms of managing existing store assortments and liaison with the relevant departments for new opportunities
• Driving key financial indicators for the region
• Developing and controlling budgets for the region
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Implementation of the various company strategies

Job Requirements:

• Unquestionable ethics and values
• A strong commercial and business orientation
• Ability to travel
• The ability to operate independently
• A tertiary commercial qualification would be advantageous
• Proven ability to display initiative
• Proven leadership experience at a senior management level
