Job Description:

An exciting opportunity within Swindon Borough Council’s Operations – Planned Improvement Works.

The post of the Project Commissioner will deliver capital and planned maintenance projects to our customers across the Borough of Swindon. The role will include preparing feasibility studies, develop new initiatives & concepts, produce detailed specifications, drawings and design solutions for the modernisation and improvement projects within the capital investment programme.

Experience is required for preparation of brief, technical design and specification, invitation to tender & contractual documentation and where required; the procurement and administration of the construction contract through to completion.

Applicants must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
