Job Description:

We are looking for individuals to join our team as Casual Passenger Assistants. Passenger Assistants are responsible for ensuring the safety, safeguarding and well-being of Children & Young People (CYP) during their journey, whether on Council-provided school or social care transport.

Job Requirements:

• You will possess the ability to establish a rapport and build relationships with passengers/parents and carers. Having a patient and calm disposition and being emotionally resilient if faced with a difficulty situation, is key for this role.
• Flexibility to cover routes at short notice, dependent on the needs of the service is essential. You will receive on the job behaviour management and safeguarding training.
• Experience of working in a school based setting would be desirable.
