Job Description: The Global Privacy & Regulatory Affairs team handles and oversees legal privacy and regulatory matters pertaining to TikTok's global operations. The team works cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders in the US and around the world to tackle some of the most complex, interesting, and cutting edge issues in privacy and security. We are looking for highly motivated, experienced, and bright legal professionals to join our exciting team. Job Responsibilities: Proactively implement changes to product assessment process in anticipation of regulatory and business developments; Work with legal counsel, information security, and product teams to develop and implement global privacy standards; Assist in setting up or improving cross-functional Privacy Programs; Develop and implement operational improvements to improve effectiveness & efficiency of product assessment process. Lead privacy analysis and assessments of the Company's products throughout development cycle to ensure compliance with local and global privacy and data protection laws; Coordinate and drive cross-stakeholder alignment regarding implementation of privacy requirements and proposed remediations; Job Requirements: CIPP certification is a plus; Strong sense of problem solving and proactive work ethic; Experience, and more importantly personal interest, in technology, social network, internet, and all things digital is ideal; 5+ years work experience, including privacy or information security compliance; Determination to face tough challenges in a fast-paced environment while keeping a sense of humor; Fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin a plus.
