Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts & certain income statement
• Analyse & recommend savings in expenditures
• Report variances
• Incorporate all changes to current business model and structure
• Analyse and interpret budget and forecasts (daily/monthly)
• Administration of fixed assets
• Process bi-Annual and Annual journals
• Compile audit report
• Prepare budget (annually) and forecasts (quarterly)
• Compile business case or EVA calculation for relevant project costs or CAPEX expenditure accounts
• Apply expected financial and economic indicators on historical and new information
• Scrutinize expenses for incorrect GL and cost allocations and identify, investigate and report variances to budget
• Test and prepare transactions against policies/budgets, delegation of duties
• Prepare and manage forecasts & budgets
• Financial and operational reporting/authorisation
• Comply to IFRS (IAS16)
• Gather historic financial information
• Preparation and capture of acquisitions and disposal of assets

Job Requirements:

• Minimum three years relevant accounting experience
• SAP knowledge
• Relevant B-degree with accounting (articles recommended)
