Job Description:

The Security Analytics and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining various executive level reports, and providing support for EY’s global Information Security team’s reporting dashboards, as well as to conducting reporting analyses in accordance with the Information Security team’s policies and procedures. This includes the oversight of metrics reports and dashboards which are created to represent various data point across the Information Security program at EY. These reports should be visually presented in a legible, unambiguous, and clear format within a user friendly reporting platform so that management can easily review and make decisions based on those reports.
You will be accountable to maintain a relationship with supporting stakeholders, service owners, application owners, and technical repository owners, or shared IT database owners to provide a review of report findings and to highlight areas of concern or noted variances to established Information Security policies. In addition, you will determine the viability of current processes and procedures against policies and recommend best practices and areas for improvement in their automation processes to drive down manual effort and minimize mistakes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in conjunction with team members to develop and improve specific operational metrics.
• Provide regular management updates and material
• Create, update, and maintain reporting dashboards for management review.
• Must be flexible and willing to work overtime, if required
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Assists other team members, directly or indirectly, in the development, implementation, and support of automation tools and applications to meet the growing business requirements of Information Security Metrics & Reporting.
• Provide day to day support and insight to the metrics
• Analyze data and create information in the form of reports

Job Requirements:

• Highly organized and detail orientated
• 3+ years experience in service delivery and/or business operations role
• Understanding of project and program management
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment
• Experience with Information Security / reporting exercises
• Knowledge and understanding of NIST, ISO, and ITIL standards/frameworks
• Good judgement, tact, and decision-making ability
• Deep understanding of data mining and business intelligence (data management, dashboards, metrics, KPI)
• Experience with Splunk, Archer, Agari, Alteryx, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced level: Excel filters, pivot tables, charts)
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance which is required for this role
• The ideal candidate is someone with a desire for continuous learning
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A Bachelors Degree in a field closely related to data management, information security, computer science, or finance or relevant experience
• 4+ years experience producing various levels of operational metrics and reporting
• Skilled in various reporting tools, preferably PowerBI
• Excellent strategic and tactical business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision making
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and make independent decisions
• Experience with writing Information Security processes and procedures
• Strong analytical ability
