Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master will be working with Project Stakeholders to obtain high level requirements, lead a small team of technical resources, and provide high level estimates for upcoming work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides virtual leadership for a Tower Product Team responsible for:
• The assessments / estimating of intake requests,
• Leading a team of technical resources performing tasks to ensure readiness for the migration of our EDW to Cloud
• Works with the Lead – Enterprise Architecture documenting the plan for the Data Strategy and Roadmap for Data Analytics
• Reviews all incoming Intake Requests for impact analysis and estimates to ensure that minimal requirements are included
• Develop a standardized methodology for impact assessments and estimations across all Product teams
• Present completed impact assessments and estimates to Business Partners outlining detailed analysis and documented assumptions of business requirements
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Utilize Agile methodologies and acts as scrum master for daily standups
• Create metrics based reporting identifying number of requests (in queue, in progress, completed, cancelled, on hold), total number of estimated work hours for new initiatives, lead time provided by tower for requests, and resources required for new work
• Work closely with the Lead – Enterprise Architecture – Data to document the Data Analytics Strategy Roadmap
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership and the PMO
• Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
• Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

Job Requirements:

• Good deciphering of business requirement, and working with ambiguity from the client
• Knowledge and experience in agile (scrum / Kanban / iterative development)
• Managed 2 or more end to end, high complexity Programs (multiple vendors, stakeholders and technology)
• Managed programs using Agile methodology with 2 or more scrum teams
• Strong communication skills for both internal and external customers
• Ability to document assumptions when dealing with ambiguity from the business
• Strong understanding of key concepts of financial processes such as budgeting, financial modeling, ROI development etc.
• Strong issue resolution skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of project/program management methodologies and tools
• Exceptional relationship skills, collaboration across lines of business
