Job Responsibilities:

• Help the team to remove blockers that inhibit team productivity
• Supports Product Owner on effective backlog prioritisation
• Facilitate team ceremonies in a way that builds psychological safety and matures ways of working
• Help the team to understand capacity and support the team in becoming self-managing by introducing team and flow metrics as appropriate
• Guide the squad on how to correctly apply Scrum and other frameworks
• Work with the Scrum Master Chapter to build a community and evolve BT’s Agile maturity
• Shields the team from external interference and ensure the team is fully cross-functional

Job Requirements:

• Ability to coach and mentor teams and individuals, with a strong servant leadership philosophy
• Able to to manage and influence stakeholders with competing priorities
• A mindset for experimentation and continuous improvement; always seeking to inspect and adapt in order to deliver better business outcomes
• Motivated by delivering business outcomes and able to identify and resolve dependencies to deliver change in complex environments
• Excellent facilitator, with the ability to communicate and adapt your style based on the situation / context
• Scrum Master Certification preferred
• Practical experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or equivalent
