Job Description:

To administer the Company payroll in accordance with Company policy and legislative requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Check and validate leave forms
  • Capture all leave information
  • Administer encashment of leave days
  • Administer leave bonuses
  • Monitor outstanding leave balances
  • Clearing of exceptions
  • Input of Overtime Schedules as per procedure
  • Input of approved Overtime > 40 hours
  • Deal with Medical Aid shortfalls and queries
  • Calculate acting allowances and capture on SAP system
  • Deal with acting allowance queries
  • Check and verify acting position notifications
  • Capture allowances annually
  • Capture garnishee orders per vendor
  • Capture long service
  • Capture travel claims on SAP payroll
  • Deal with employee queries
  • New Employees – Check all input data done by HR
  • Assist Site Payroll Administrators and Time and Attendance Administrators with queries.
  • Verify Bank detail changes – file documentation for auditing purposes.

Job Requirements:

  • MSOFFICE and associated software
  • SAP Payroll module
  • Computer skills with emphasis on MS Excel
  • Grade 12
  • SAP Basic
  • Medical fitness as per organisational requirement
  • 3 years general admin experience
