Primark Derby is recruiting for a Senior Department Manager. Our Derby store is 42,100 sq. ft. across 3 levels.

As a Senior Department Manager you will oversee the full day to day running of one of the largest departments with the store. You will have full commercial control of the department, including stock ordering and merchandising and, using available data provided to you, will lead a team to maximise sales and provide a superior level of customer service.

A retail fashion background is not essential for this role but having strong leadership and coaching skills, a commercial mind set and exposure to a fast paced environment is. Many Senior Department Managers join us from positions such as Sales, Floor or Department Manager of a similar size store or Assistant or Store Manager of a smaller size store to ours. The role will not be without challenge but you will have the freedom, the autonomy and the support to really make this role your own.
