Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, implementation and communication of all relevant SHE policies at the site(s).
- Guide the input and retrieval of information to and from the companies H&S Safety software management system.
- Provide day to day Safety, Health and Environmental assistance and advice to enable the site(s) to comply with relevant statutory legislation.
- Meet annual Safety, Health and Environmental targets which will be assessed via the performance management system.
- Deliver and provide support in the development of Safety, Health and Environmental training requirements.
- Undertake relevant Safety, Health and Environment audits at site(s) and create relevant action plans.
- Analyse and assist developing action plans for site(s) based on accident / Incident & Claims information.
- Assist the SHE function in delivering the SHE business plan (Contract / Divisional)
- Coordinate the Safety, Health and Environmental monitoring programme to ensure legal and organisational compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Be able to communicate at all levels.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate
- The ability to engage with site(s) stakeholders
- Previous H&S responsibility in warehouse and transport environments – (Desirable)
- Ability to create H&S improvement plans and work to targets
- Proven experience operating within a role that holds responsibility for Health & Safety
