Job Responsibilities:
- Observe and assess all mental health patients according to their condition.
- Follow the nursing process to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally effective care
- Responsible for case management in high risk clients, regularly contact high risk clients for support, follow up on their mental health status, compliance with treatment, attending their appointments, and reviewing their laboratory results.
- Demonstrate a professional commitment to patients and fellow healthcare professionals
- To adhere to Codes of Professional conduct working within and accepting responsibility for maintaining agreed levels of competence
- Assess and conduct mental status examination and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members.
- Assesses, plans, provides and evaluates the educational needs of the patient and family
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills by problem solving appropriately during patient care
- Look after patients with severe and enduring mental illness.
Job Requirements:
- Masters degree in Nursing would be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing of at least three (3) years duration from an accredited institute/college/university.
- Willing to be based in Dubai
- Home country license as registered nurse is required
- Willing to work for 48 hours per week
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years of clinical experience working with child & adolescent mental health patients.
- Candidates from outside the UAE can be considered as long as you are eligible to get DHA License
