Job Description:

The Membership & Growth Programme is focused on developing and implementing strategies and activities that generate growth and engagement for human rights projects to harness people power for positive human rights change, whilst also inspiring commitment from current supporters and members which feeds into AISA’s overall strategies to deliver human rights impact.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy
• Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
• Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
• Monitors the conversation on AISA’s social media channels to help develop relevant content for social media channels
• Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on AISA sites, and encourages audience participation
• Design and develop compelling graphic and video content and copy for AISA social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter with a focus on engaging a youth audience (18-25 years)
• Design compelling content for large social media projects, events and community management, with a focus on helping to grow AISA’s online audience and brand amongst generation z (18 – 25 years)
• Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects and content
• Monitors engagement of social media content, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google and TikTok

Job Requirements:

• Proficient understanding of social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to specific audiences
• Proficient in creating engaging material for social media and digital channels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to identify key trends and interests across social media channels and AISA social media audiences
• Detailed-oriented
• Strong time management skills
• Graphic Design or Marketing degree preferred.
