Nampak Job Application – Operator Palletiser

Job Responsibilities:

• Do daily inspection using mirrors, hand sampling etc
• Ensure that all labels printed on the specific shift and work orders are scanned
• Investigate cause of stoppage on the line
• Clear jams, reset palletiser
• To ensure all pallets/labels are scanned into JDE
• Minimise HFI mount by constant inspection
• Ensure HFI  is minimised through quick response
• Correct transfer of every pallet into correct location
• Inspect layer pads and pallet
• Complete weekly maintenance check sheet, sign and place in file
• Ensure required tools and materials available and kept secure
• Vacuum dust at strapper and palletiser daily
• Make sure all change part for specific size is for use before the change-over

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant experience, preferably in high-speed manufacturing environment
• Be computer literate
• Be a team player
• Must be quality and safety aware
• Must be able to work shifts
