Job Description:

Provide a focused, strategic talent acquisition solution in order to enable the business’ current and future scarce and critical talent requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build professional working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, displaying sound abilities to listen, advise, influence, negotiate and present at all levels.
  • Ensure effective handling of candidate queries, complaints and compliments and drive positive solution resolution with an emphasis being placed on customer centricity
  • Facilitate offers and pre-employment processes to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Participate in workforce planning meetings and implement the strategies to achieve talent objectives.
  • Create candidate pipelines against future needs driven by business, roles and/or industry trends
  • Develop and drive suitable networking events for target talent pools
  • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Strategically engage with internal stakeholders by providing market intelligence and market trends related to remuneration, competitor activity and the various talent pools to effectively target relevant skills.
  • Timeously engage potential candidates on career opportunities through providing compensation, benefits etc. related information to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Analyze and utilize metrics and data to manage report on and accurately measure the effectiveness of sourcing and recruitment processes and enhance when necessary.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and HC team to determine talent requirements aligned to scarce and critical capabilities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to cater for scarce skills roles and create a continuous candidate and talent pipeline and candidate experience in line with talent strategy
  • Proactively source, pre-screen, and interview suitably qualified talent in line with Employment Equity principles, Talent strategy and culture.
  • Effectively leverage off resources using a variety of sourcing tools (Linkedin, professional associations, social media, etc) to source candidate profiles to create recruitment leads and build talent pools.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in hiring events such as career or job fairs, external recruiting, and other networking events
  • Apply relevant research tools to produce well-executed research results and gather market intelligence to aid in the attraction of talent.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of and experience of HR practices and relevant legislation
  • In-depth knowledge of recruiting methods, with demonstrated experience in successfully placing scarce and critical roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in HR, Behavioral Sciences or related.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in attracting, screening, interviewing, and acquiring talent at various levels
  • 2 – 5 experience as a Researcher (advantageous)
  • Experience in using various agency portals and platforms to develop pipeline talent pools
  • Proven skill and experience with regards to writing advertisements, branding, and advertising
