Job Description:
The above position is vacant at Fidelity CashMaster in Waltloo, reporting to the Cash Devices Executive.
CashMaster will be creating a digital payment solution to further enhance value propositions to our customer base. The solution will include e-wallets, card payments, QR payments, mobile payments and a number of value- added products, data and airtime being just one example. The solution will be focussed on both the Merchant and the Consumer.
The Product Owner will have to apply technical and functional knowledge combined expertise to provide and support and guide the team in developing a world class mobile / e-wallet and payment solution for South Africa and Africa.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of designing and developing an integrated payment platform with solutions for both Merchants and Customers alike
- Assist with design and integration of Fintech solutions
- Identify potential value-added services to be deployed on the platform
- Facilitate the documentation of business requirements i.e. functionality, user interface etc.
- Develop and implement procedures to deploy in market
- Maintain customer relations

- Improving revenue and cost savings through designs

- Generating reports and presentations (internally & externally)

Job Requirements:
- 6 years of work experience in the fields of Payments / Digital Services / Value Added Services, consulting, marketing, information technology
- A Business analyst/Business commerce degree would be advantageous
- Excellent client-facing and negotiation skills
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking and innovation
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent command of English
- Very good educational background, preferably in a numerate discipline
