Job Description:

You will drive the sales performance of Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN), participating in sales strategy discussions, assigning goals and negotiating sales budgets and marketing plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively anticipates and identifies shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action. Drives top line growth
  • Plans and implements customer surveys and acts on the results to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Sales strategy: Creates, plans and implements global/regional/local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Business Area/Division/Product Group.
  • Supports local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets
  • Customer acquisition: Identifies and evaluates opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources
  • Sales targets
  • Volume, profit and cost: Identifies, monitors and maintains/exceeds the sales market price levels, evaluating with Product Management pricing impact on the results
  • Customer relations: Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations
  • Participates in the negotiation of key global contracts
  • Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance

Job Requirements:

  • Responsible and commercial awareness
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
  • Good sales and customer relations strategies to increase organization’s market share
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 15 years of relevant work experience
  • Critical business thinking, coaching, leadership, results orientation, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • Team player, trustworthy and good ethics
