Job Description:

To provide administrative support to the customers, sales and the other support functions to provide an efficient and effective operational service to customers. Personal & Business Operational Administrators will perform physical or technical operations duties for Business Banking, helping to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability. The Personal & Business Operational Administrators works primarily to ensure that methods and standards are in line with the business operating model and Act as operational

Job Responsibilities:

To provide the necessary administrative support to the Sales teams to ensure that the clients’ operational needs are met, eg. Opening of accounts for all products

  • Optimal functioning within the business banking operational team, including the implementation and monitoring of compliance to all the business banking standards, policies and procedures
  • Quality metrics – meeting the Business banking SLA targets
  • Benchmarking and ensuring continuous compliance and improvement to quality
  • Ensuring adherence and compliance to business banking quality improvement projects and initiatives
  • Responding speedily and correctly to stakeholder and client queries ensuring that solutions are achieved timeously.
  • Providing telephonic support to clients and Business Bankers to proactively address their needs.
  • To follow up with all parties to ensure that the necessary documentation is in place and processes and transactions are processed timeously
  • Managing (review, analyse, monitor and resolve) operational cost
  • Meeting internal Business banking targets for operational cost ,
  • Ensuring compliance cost are managed and implemented as per the business standards
  • Managing cost of sales through driving product conversions to improve and manage cost savings in all products
  • Effective building of relationships with internal/external stakeholders, through:
  • Ensure productive working relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Ensuring productive working relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Driving formal Bidvest Bank Values of Care within own environment
  • Participating actively in various Bidvest Bank events to promote business banking

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications Grade 12 Certificate in Banking and Business Operations qualifications
  • Experience 2 years in an administrative or client service role 3 years in an Operational and client service role in a financial institution
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (Competencies & level of competencies) max 6
