Job Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Benefits Administrator at Financial Shared Services Division in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The purpose of the role is the administration of the retirement funds, medical aid and adhoc benefits projects and day to day activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Submission and tracking of new entrants, changes and withdrawal
- Managing of daily medical aid queries from Payroll/Site HR
- Weekly termination checks
- Preparing monthly pre-billing reports and comparing to medical aid billing
- Reviewing and clearing of monthly differences
- Obtaining forms from the fund and updating the intranet
- Preparation of monthly reports
- Preparation, submission and collating of certificates of existence for pensioners on company medical aid
- Contacting of pensioners with unsuccessful medical aid recalls
Job Requirements:
- Experience:
- 2 years’ Benefits Administration (retirement and medical aid related, Death Claim)
- Employee Benefits Experience
- Knowledge of Retirement Funds and Pension Funds Act
- Qualifications:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of retirement funding
- Knowledge of medical aid rules and processes
- SAP HR Module
- Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)
