Job Description:

Graphic and CAD Artist Status: Exempt Responsibilities: Graphic and CAD Artist will create and execute graphics and CADs for the Line and production placements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must double check work to ensure consistent accuracy as mistakes directly impact financial operations for the department and Company.
• Responsible for approvals between Design and Production.
• Maintain an organized work space.
• Organize all computer files.
• Production templates Company DescriptionWe are an apparel company that designs and manufactures clothing for girls and juniors, and plus sizes.
• Daily follow up for all pending projects.
• Back-up all artwork on disks and maintain archives.
• Responsible for artwork Send-Outs to screeners and follow up.
• Update all production order books for Designer and VP Design.
• Responsible for completing all production orders before sales delivery date.
• Print and update all cads for fittings.

Qualification & Experience:

• Fluent with Photoshop CS and Illustrator CS.
• Create artwork for the Line and projects for Sales Reps.
• Resize artwork to fit Production pattern templates.
• Pitch out the exact color using pantones/swatches for artwork/prints.
• Prepare artwork CDs for China—artwork and /or all over prints.
• Liaison for Create garment cads and pattern repeats.
• Organized and detail-oriented paperwork to record production processing for China.
