For the Qatar Rail project we are looking for a Signage Expert (f/m/d), who is experienced in interfacing with Qatar Government agencies/companies & utilities companies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support digital signage and information elements as per part future online Qatar Rail Development
• Organise and attend site surveys and pre-start meetings coordinating all signage implementation activity from start to completion
• Internal interfaces: PR and Comms, Architects Dept & Operations
• Take ownership of projects, proactively identifying and solving problems that arise during the project work and ensuring successful outcomes for our clients
• Assist with the development of signage detail drawings, document specifications, and manage all delivery phases
• Review and comment on the external signage and wayfinding proposals submitted and work with external stakeholders like MOT
• Develop the designs for the Customer facing Network Map in conjunction with the PR and Communications Agency
• Distill concepts into narratives and prepare presentations that advance the business project goals
• Support Service Delivery, providing expert input to station signage coordination meetings in respect of RFC1565 implementation
• Advise and work with Service Delivery to propose suitable content for a digital signage content management system
• Ensure the timely planning and scheduling of content for all the signage development, as well as inputs and comments delivery
• Deliver projects, on time, to specification and to budget. Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
• Collaborate with team members, clients and design consultants to create detailed holistic strategies and drive designs from concept to completion
• Manage the foward momentum of projects and create work plans to achieve the project’s goals

Job Requirements:

• University degree (preferably a B.A./B.Sc in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Achitecture)
• Experience in interfacing with JVs & PMCs, MoTC, QR, Service Provider, QTA, Qatar Airways, HIA, Mowasalat
• Portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility, typographic skills and systems thinking through completed projects
• Understanding of materials/methods required for signage fabrication and installation a high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (In-
• Design, Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD Tools
• Excellent English language skills
• Willingness to travel within Qatar
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit and Sign Agent are plus
• 5+ years of work experience in planning, documentation and management of wayfinding and signage projects with the travel environment
• Exposure to design strategy, master plan development, and digital wayfinding technologies is a plus
