Job Description:
Act as a point of contact for both employees and managers and deliver customised and forward-looking solutions, programs and policies to address the Region’s issues. Assist with the People Partner projects and act as advisors to management and employees to influence positive change in the business environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze trends and metrics for the region and provide solutions to address the concerns., Consult with line management and provide daily People processes guidance aligned to the organisational strategy., Identify training needs for teams and individuals in consultation with the Learning and Development department., Interview and appoint employees for the region., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Monitor and report on workforce planning to ensure operational efficiencies., Monitor staffing needs and ensure effective recruitment of employees in consultation with the Talent Acquisition department., Provide People Partner policy guidance to ensure fair employment practices and engaged employees., Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances for the regions., Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years HR generalist experience with in a medical environment, 5 years HR generalist experience, Extensive knowledge of Labour Relations Act, Knowledge: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Knowledge: Employment Equity Act (EEA), Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), Knowledge of payroll and systems, Knowledge of Workday (all HCM suites)
- Bachelor: Human Resource Management, Certificate: Human Resource Management (Required), Grade 12 (Required)
