Job Description:

Unitrans has an opportunity for a Workshop Storeman responsible for receiving, storing and issuing of goods against requisitions and records these. Ensures that stock sheets are updated with daily issues and receipts and administers the daily movement and storage of goods. Identifies components required for parts lists, microfilm, et cetera and obtains same from appropriate bins. Job Responsibilities:

• Managing and reconciling stock
• Fuel; ordering of Depot fuel and processing of fuel issued using Miro Alter to correct contracts.
• Issuing order to supplier for Parts, Fuel, Property, Vehicle maintenance, discharge equipment, COF, Fire permits, etc
• Resolving Supplier queries
• Identifies components required for parts lists, microfilm, et cetera and obtains same from appropriate bins.
• Ensures that stock sheets are updated with daily issues and receipts and administers the daily movement and storage of goods.
• Complete wear check reports and samples
• Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing of goods against requisitions and records these.
• Receiving and issuing of parts, oils etc
• Maintaining the GRN account and ensuring Supplier invoices are received and submitted for Processing.

Job Requirements:

• Adhere to safe working procedures
• Up to 3 years experience
• Stores experience
• Workshop/Supply Chain experience advantages
• Ability to create and capture job cards
• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
