Job Description:

TFG Design and Manufacturing is looking for an experienced, dynamic and self-driven individual who can join our team in The Fix in the role of Pattern Designer. The successful candidate will be required to make Patterns using a technical sketch of a garment from the Designer. The Pattern Designer is responsible for creating required pattern pieces on Lectra in order to ensure successful garment interpretation, proportion and fit is achieved.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with retail and in house Technologist
• Grading
• Handle queries from factories
• Attend Fit Sessions with Designer
• Liaise with Designer on requirements
• Measure Garments
• Communicate with Sample Room on requirements and queries
• Create Pattern on computer using Lectra and available references

Job Requirements:

• Proven written and verbal communication skill
• To be self-motivated, well organised and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Is able to work under pressure to meet regular deadlines
• Ability to show initiative and be resourceful
• Has a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Multi-tasking with the ability to focus and attend to multiple things
• Has the ability to Grade (advantageous)
• Is reliable and hard working
• For this position experience on the Lectra windows system would be advantageous.
• Enjoys working in a team.
• Has proven competency in Pattern Making (3-5 years)
• Sound decision making ability
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Has good planning and organising skills and be able to prioritise
• Has good interpersonal and communication skills
• To be able to perform at a high level of accuracy with little supervision
