Job Description:
An exciting opportunity within Swindon Borough Council’s Property Maintenance Gas team.
The post of Gas Engineer will involve completing both servicing and maintenance of our Gas appliances within our local 10,500 domestic rentable homes. Experience of working within social housing and a knowledge in the use of hand held technology, would be beneficial.
In return we offer excellent training packages both internally and externally as well as good working wage, holiday pay, a van for business use only and option to earn additional money via overtime and our voluntary out of hour’s service.
Applicants must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
