Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- Collating group payroll information and documentation to ensure accurate and timeous administration of the monthly payroll
- Administering payroll maintenance
- Processing leave, absenteeism and scheduled overtime
- Assisting employees in annual GRP structuring
- Administering the GRP/COM Payroll
- Administering the engagement and separation processes
- Handling of payroll queries
- Compliance to applicable legislation i.e. SOX, PAYE, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Be in possession of Grade 12 Certificate
- Have 2 years or more experience in payroll administration at an appropriate level
- Possess sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular)
- Display an in depth knowledge of personal tax legislation, mining payroll, pension, provident fund and medical schemes rules / legislation
- Be able to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to detail
- Have good oral and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrate above-average interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to cope effectively under pressure
- Have integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Be prepared to work extended hours on an ad hoc basis
- Be in possession of a valid Driver’s License
- Have experience in Symplexity or another on-line payroll system
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater
