Job Description:

To assist the Team Lead in the Cloud Infrastructure Team with rolling out new Azure systems, maintaining, upgrading, replacing, and improving the long-term performance of the existing systems.?The candidate will be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, and operation of Azure-based systems consisting of multiple subscriptions and technologies. The candidate will be part of a team of engineers and administrators, supporting assigned systems, applications, and associated technologies in the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

• Scripting and automation
• To implement and assist with Disaster recovery management, procedures & documentation
• To implement, administer and maintain Azure platform
• Troubleshoot Azure outages and performance issues
• Analyze and implement cost-saving solutions
• Interact with another team to implement best solutions

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Azure DevOps, including pipelines, etc.(1-2 years)
• Scripting experience, specifically with PowerShell to automate existing workloads and routine system admin tasks. (5-10 years)
• Grade 12
• 5-10 years Industry Certification: MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer): Infrastructure Engineer
• Proven history of incident response, diagnostic activities, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action Plans, and advanced troubleshooting(5-10 years)
• Experience with Linux (3-5 years)
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory Domain(5-10 years)
• Understanding of network and storage principles?(5-10 years)
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server architecture design and implementation(5-10 years)
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Azure solution design and implementation(2-3 years)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS protocols, firewall, load-balancing technologies, and firewalls. (5-10 years)
• Understanding of Linux fundamentals and concepts (3-5 years)
• 1-2 years Industry Certification: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure (5-10 years)
