Job Responsibilities:
- Testing of new applications, upgrades or changes etc.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure problem resolution on various applications
- Work with project teams to investigate complex issues, identify and implement solutions
- Work in partnership with other departments ensuring correct exchange of knowledge
- Provide support and guidance on software applications and systems
- Conduct system monitoring (after hours monitoring required)
Job Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with different stakeholders at all operational levels
- Matric
- Application Support background
- Continuous improvement of processes and controls
- Involvement in business projects when required
- Hands on issue resolution where and when required
- Reduction in internal and external audit findings over time
- Employee Benefits experience (Benefit Payments, Contributions, Specialized Functions, Fund Accounting)
- Experience with Sanlam Employee Benefits applications and systems required (e.g. MIP, JUMP, STeP, CFlow.)
- Diagnostic & Problem solving skills
- Time management
