Job Description:

An opportunity has become available for a Special Processing Technician. The Incumbent will be responsible for processing blood donations into specialised blood products within agreed timeframes and achieve the quality standards required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure Operational Objectives have been accomplished.
• Instrument and Laboratory Maintenance has been accomplished.
• Quality compliance has been achieved in accordance with SOP specifications.
• General functions have been carried out within specified timeframes.

Job Requirements:

• Overtime as and when required
• Shift and weekend duties as scheduled
• Local and nation travel
• Generally physically healthy and reasonable endurance and mobility
• Detail Conscious
• Proficient Eye-sight
• Matric with mathematics and one science subject OR
• HPCSA  Laboratory Assistant
