Job Description:

Ultimately, you will ensure our digital content is on-brand, achieves brand KPI’s and adds value to existing and potential customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct content audits (qualitative analyses of all digital content)
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Assist in monitoring web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates)
  • Assist in conducting keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs
  • Lead with a data-strategy approach
  • Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication
  • Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
  • Assist with the accurate scheduling of digital content
  • Create structural style guides to use as reference
  • Assess, vet and approve written pieces before publication

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to create cross channel and content strategies
  • A strong understanding of media planning, distribution and content syndication
  • 5+ years of experience as a strategist, with atleast 3 years as a digital strategist
  • Matric
  • Communications
  • Strategic Digital Marketing qualifications
  • Higher Certificate/Diploma or relevant tertiary qualifications / certifications
  • Client relationship building
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media marketing is crucial
  • Experience in developing, managing and presenting solutions within a creative environment
