Job Description:
Ultimately, you will ensure our digital content is on-brand, achieves brand KPI’s and adds value to existing and potential customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct content audits (qualitative analyses of all digital content)
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Assist in monitoring web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates)
- Assist in conducting keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs
- Lead with a data-strategy approach
- Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication
- Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
- Assist with the accurate scheduling of digital content
- Create structural style guides to use as reference
- Assess, vet and approve written pieces before publication
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to create cross channel and content strategies
- A strong understanding of media planning, distribution and content syndication
- 5+ years of experience as a strategist, with atleast 3 years as a digital strategist
- Matric
- Communications
- Strategic Digital Marketing qualifications
- Higher Certificate/Diploma or relevant tertiary qualifications / certifications
- Client relationship building
- Strong understanding of digital and social media marketing is crucial
- Experience in developing, managing and presenting solutions within a creative environment
