Job Description:

The Maltby Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a conscientious, energetic, and hardworking individual in the interesting and varied role of Caretaker. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Trust Facilities Manager and Academy Principal, as part of a wider site team supporting site maintenance and other duties associated with Trust premises and facilities.

The Trust currently comprises of seven sites, with the possibility of further expansion, it is therefore essential that the person appointed can be flexible to meet the logistical demands of the role and travel between sites as the need arises. This is a highly valued and responsible position which requires someone who can demonstrate high standards of working and the ability to work under their own initiative and as part of a team. A hands-on approach and good practical skills are essential.

Primarily based at Ravenfield Primary Academy, the role will contribute to the smooth running of the Academy by carrying out a range of duties including security and supervision of the site and related equipment, and other caretaking duties including porterage, cleaning, and maintenance.

Tied accommodation, a freshly redecorated, 3-bedroom, stone-built property, can be attached to the role if desired.
