Job Description:
We are in the process of recruiting for a Programme Manager to be based at the Cape Town Programme to be responsible for the Alternative Care programme (Village settling) and staff such as Community and Youth and Child and youth care workers.

Job Requirements:
- Planning/organizing and coordinating skills
- Customer relationship building
- 5 years’ relevant experience within the non-profit sector, preferably in the child environment.
- Minimum-4-5 years of management experience in a similar settling.
- Valid SA driver’s license
- Fully computer literate
- Knowledge of programmes in an NGO environment.
- Knowledge of the South African legislation governing NGO’s and their operations.
- Knowledge of programme management, monitoring and evaluation.
- Minimum Honors degree in Child and Youth Development / Social Work or equivalent.
- Must be fluent in English
- Strategic thinking, Innovative and able to problem solving
- Programme and project management skills
- Conflict Management
- Adaptability and change management skills
- Strong negotiation, communication and networking skills.
- Good knowledge of Children`s rights.
- Good budget and financial skills.
- Good understanding of HR and Organisational Development.
