Job Responsibilities:

  • rationalization of the distribution network;
  • storage activities and optimization of physical layout;
  • improvement of inventory management practices;
  • route optimization;
  • evaluation and optimization of reverse logistics;
  • evaluation of the 3PL / 4PL model.
  • Prepare profitability analyzes that demonstrate the value of the opportunity, from a qualitative and quantitative point of view, by means of an analysis of the return on invested capital.
  • Develop targeted project plans, focused on reducing costs and realizing benefits.
  • Participate in technological projects, such as the implementation of WMS or TMS solutions.
  • Identify the client’s current supply chain practices, compare them to best practices, and assess performance gaps.
  • Participate in supply chain assessment efforts across the organization.
  • Contribute to the significant improvement of the performance of client organizations by carrying out various targeted analyzes in terms of logistics and distribution, relating, among other things, to the following

Job Requirements:

  • Over five years of experience in supply chain management, industry or consulting.
  • Over three years of logistics and distribution experience.
  • Professional titles reserved for supply chain specialists (eg CPIM, CSCMP) considered as assets.
  • Experience in performance improvement, process reconfiguration, cost reduction, supply chain improvement and other transformation initiatives.
  • Experience as an internal or external business advisor and a background in management consulting with a reputable consulting company considered to be solid assets.
  • Recognized problem solving skills, analytical mind and ability to examine the complex structure of a company’s problems and synthesize findings and conclusions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to use financial analysis to support profitability analyzes and the quantification of opportunities, business performance and service level impact.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills in both official languages ​​(French and English).
