KPMG Apprenticeship – User Experience Designer

Job Description:

The Ignition Tax team is charged with leading the digital tax transformation within KPMG. The user experience team will work across many streams of work to lead the charge on enterprise tools that enables out teams to be more productive.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use research to inform design solutions
• Own the design process from end to end: conduct user research to understand the users problems, take a design from early concepts (Lo Fi) to pixel perfect production (Hi Fi).
• Conduct usability testing on various ideas and validate ideas on each iterations to ensure your solutions align with business goals
• Be a good story teller. You will need to have strong facilitation and collaboration abilities to facilitate discussions and workshop with engineers and business analyst to advocate for good user experience and potential solutions to identified problems.
• Contribute in growing our budding design system and design components to be used across multiple products.
• Distill complex problems into easy to understand User flows and wireframes.
• 3-5 Years hands on experience as a UX Designer or Product Designer. Having experience with enterprise applications is a plus.
• Be capable conducting user research. You do not have to be a researcher but a strong understanding of techniques require to develop an understanding of users and problem solving is key.
• Communicate your ideas clearly with team members and also with senior members such as Senior managers and Partners
• An online portfolio demonstrating excellent visual and interaction design skills and also problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Figma (and other design tools) and Windows operating system
