Job Description:
As Buyer Administrative Assistant, you work closely with the buyer(s) by placing purchase orders, communicating with international and domestic vendors, generate reports, provide scheduling assistance, and execute other administrative duties. Buyer Administrative Assistants cultivate the working relationship between their buyers and vendors and must possess strong communication skills, which facilitate the ability to work with vendors where language barriers are prevalent
Job Requirements:
- Intermediate in Microsoft Office knowledge
- Proficient reading comprehension
- Proficient customer service
- Intermediate knowledge of office technology, such as copy/scanning machines, multi-line phone systems
- Basic mathematical skills
- Advanced verbal & written communication
- Proficient data entry skills
- Advanced filing skills with physical and digital documentation
Qualification & Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree
- 3 – 5 years’ work experience in a related field
