Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also be overseeing specific personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

•  Long term schedule for In Line inspection of the pipelines.
• 3 yearly Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) and Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) tests on the pipeline CP System.
• Quarterly Pipe-Soil-Potential (PSP) checks on the CP System along with health checks on the Transformer-Rectifier (TR) units and Anode Beds.
• Periodic Checks as per manufacturers’ recommendations for Pumps, Motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), instrumentation, etc.
• Pipeline Management System: Put in a place and implement a documented Pipeline Management System in line with POF (Pipeline Operators Forum) guidelines and Chevron Pipeline operating and maintenance Standards. The system should also conform to relevant ISO standards.
