Job Description:
This pivotal role in the “Engagement & Diversity” team, supports colleagues, stakeholders, and our organisation with its vision for enacting change. More specifically, as the Indigenous Inclusion Consultant, located in Brisbane or Sydney, you will have direct impact, driving initiatives and building relationships with Indigenous communities and community-led organisations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee ECP boarder services, resources, and support growth for Australia Posts existing Indigenous workforce; and
- Consult and deliver early career and development programs aligned with RAP strategic outcomes.
- Develop and execute sourcing and attraction strategies to engage and recruit diverse Indigenous talent;
- Engage with Indigenous communities, employment pathway partners and relevant agency groups on career opportunities;
Job Requirements:
- Experience supporting key Indigenous led events through execution planning, promotional communications, and stakeholder engagement;
- Experience coaching key stakeholders, internal and external customers on best practices related to cultural importance and inclusion;
- Proven ability to project manage dynamic ‘end to end’ Enterprise-wide early career and development programs at a national level and achieve quality project outcomes within agreed timelines;
- Demonstrated expertise working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and leveraging employee networks on employment and inclusion initiatives;
- Strong knowledge, interest and working experience in Diversity & Inclusion industry and practices; and
- Tertiary qualifications or experience in organisational development, HR and talent acquisition, change management or business (preferred).
