Job Description:

To manage the processes, operations and employees of the area to ensure strategic business goals are met.

Job Responsibilities:

Compile and manage the Area’s budget in order to control expenses and ensure correct allocation of funds, Drive efficiency and productivity of the regional Laboratories and depots, Liaise with the Regional Managing Pathologist  regarding business/operational needs and trends., Manage and coordinate relevant projects to ensure successful completion, Manage the accreditation processes for the regional laboratories and depots to ensure required standards are maintained, Manage the operation of the laboratories and depots to ensure regional goals are met, Overall management of area to ensure regional goals are met and aligned with company strategic goals

Job Requirements:

• 10 years’ experience in Pathology laboratory (Preferably Clinical Pathology), 3 years Project Management experience, 5 Years Laboratory Management Experience at a Senior Level
• Diploma: Business Management (Required), HPCSA registration as Medical Technologist / Scientist (Required), National Diploma – Medical Technology (Preferably Clinical Pathology) (Required)
