African Bank Vacancies Midrand – Test Analyst

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that business change projects are tested efficiently within timescales and to a high quality to ensure that the change delivered meets the requirements. The test analyst will also ensure that the business users of the system can carry out business processes without any unplanned disruption. The testing aim is to find defects in relation to the specified requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• To identify, manage and mitigate risks in respect of testing
• To elicit signoff of the test results
• To deliver effective communication in respect of testing (progress v plan)
• Work with Dev Manager/Developers/Project Managers/BA/Business Owners, IT to develop test scripts and test plans
• To execute testing in accordance with test plan

Qualification & Experience:

• 3 years working experience related to banking or payments systems of which 2 years must be in a Test Analyst role
• Diploma / degree and software testing certification
