Job Responsibilities:

Manage daily activities of Trade Settlements team. Assist senior management with servicing the clients, while maintaining and improving operational procedures.

  • Solve complex problems through research and/or communications with other departments
  • Oversee daily activity of assigned outsourcing relationships
  • Assist with various tasks related to loan closings
  • Monitor day-to-day activity of clients, works with operations staff to deliver consistently high levels of service, and take responsibility and ownership over resolution of all client service-related issues
  • Communicate status of client assignments with management structure
  • Assist in developing procedures that ensure processing functions are completed accurately and timely with minimal risk exposure
  • Troubleshoot and access system issues for quality service levels, perform daily servicing activities ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Lead personnel who assist in the management of the client relationship. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Assist clients with customer, deal, and asset onboarding
  • Support your team and clients in day-to-day routines and financial processing
  • Work closely with other management structure to provide clients with world-class service and swift problem resolution
  • Lead, participate in and monitor special projects involving client relationships
  • Communicate and resolve, when possible, trade issues. Escalate when necessary

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, as well as a basic knowledge of how internal systems work
  • Knowledge of broadly syndicated loans
  • Knowledge of trade fee calculations
  • Typically, at least 4 years financial services experience working with institutional trust accounts and/or client relationships, and at least 1 year of leadership responsibility in managing others
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Basic knowledge of securities
  • Client servicing experience and excellent interpersonal skills to build high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of transfer documentation, including purchase price letters, netting letters, funding memos, participation agreements, consent and elevation agreements, termination agreements and transfer certificates
  • Experience with daily loan transactions and loan tracking systems
