Robinhood Internship – Senior Manager of Brokerage Communications

Job Description:

We’re looking for a motivated self-starter to lead the operational communications program for Robinhood Financial (RHF), our Introducing Broker-Dealer. As the Manager of the Broker Dealer Communications team, you’ll oversee processes critical to maintaining Robinhood’s brokerage communication program. The team is responsible for supervision and controls of RHF customer communications, including approvals of certain communications, audit, and supporting distribution. You’ll be expected to react efficiently and effectively to fluid situations that require swift but sound decision making and problem solving while partnering with multiple teams within brokerage operations, customer service, compliance, content strategy, and product operations. This is an opportunity to manage a critical pillar of Robinhood’s brokerage business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and coach a team of Communications Associates and Specialists
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase quality and scalability
  • Build and foster partnerships with content, compliance, engineering, and product teams to launch, improve, and scale Robinhood’s communications tools and processes
  • Anticipate and respond to anomalous situations and determine how to best correspond with our customer-base; proactively identify ways to reduce risk
  • Coordinate responsibilities for daily and ad-hoc brokerage communications, including emails, inbox messages, and push notifications, pertaining to options, corporate actions, account servicing, and asset movements
  • Oversee the forecasting, planning, and intra-day workforce management of the Communications team including 24-7 on-call support.

Job Requirements:

  • Deep functional understanding of the securities industry
  • 5+ years of Broker Dealer communications experience
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments; strong critical thinking, decision-making, and creative problem solving skills
  • Experience managing projects interfacing with technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong Robinhood product knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • High levels of empathy and integrity; passion for coaching and developing talent
