Job Description:

The Lead Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the Solutioning Infrastructure, Integration, Data & Digital Verticals with the MAF-Tech Global Solutions Dubai Head Office. This Role is responsible for designing and planning the services & solutions offered by MAF-Tech, including key verticals such as infrastructure, integration, data and enterprise & customer systems architectures in conjunction with Enterprise Architecture, Business Leadership and the Technical Community.

The Role will lead and manage the Solution Architecture & Platforms Design Team which is accountable for defining, designing, architecting, documenting and building the required solutions aligned with the Business and Enterprise Architecture Strategy. This includes providing:

• Technology Architecture, Selection & Decision Making.
• Definition & Creation of Technology Roadmaps.
• Solution Delivery of Solution Architectures & Platforms.
• Integration Architecture Delivery with existing & new platforms.
• Supporting Internal & external facing solution builds.

Job Responsibilities:

• The role will be responsible for directing & taking ownership of solution architecture, design & integration with wide range of infrastructure, applications and cloud platforms.
• The role will be responsible for managing team of solution architects, specialists and engineering teams within different verticals.
• Ensure Technical Architecture documents and technical specifications created by the teams have adherence to standards, roadmaps and policies through Architecture Review Board as an active member.
• Ensure the strategy, architecture, standards and roadmaps are communicated and understood by the relevant teams and verticals.
• Experience in developing IT architectures and standards for the organization that support the implementation of the IT strategy while promoting shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows.
• Responsible for Directing the team to propose suitable options within the solution architecture & platform design verticals on aligning the strategy with requirements and measurable benefits fully understanding the implications of decisions.
• Championing the technology roadmap with the teams and verticals that can be followed and applied in the solutions being delivered
• Define & Deliver Continuous improvement programs, where applicable, to deliver an improve performance for business outcomes.
• Responsible to establish a culture of continuous improvement, risk taking and problem-solving approach.
• Responsible for ensuring that both existing and new initiatives adopt suitable architecture guidelines, controls, likely to be both solution design, technology and process based.
• Maintain & Enhance appropriate internal technical IT Governance Structures that will work with Project Teams and Consultants to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Work with Operations and Development Teams to ensure that services are effectively designed, developed, delivered, understood and supported against the business requirements with agreed service levels.
• Assures effective roadmaps for new solutions that do not result in stranded investments. Works closely with the IT Financial area to develop proposed cost models and analyze impacts of innovation on existing service offerings.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 Years of experience in Information Technology Services including design, engineering, and architecture.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing medium to large scale projects in an Architect leadership capacity.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience determining and delivering architectures against business requirements, managing matrixed teams across projects, application, database, middleware/integration and/or infrastructure teams.
• Strong Cloud Service Oriented Background with experience in:
  • Cloud Based Solutions/Technologies (AWS, Google, Azure).
  • Implementation of modern domain driven design patterns, including micro-services and containers, disposable, reactive, stateless and distributed patterns
  • Open-source technologies
• Experience cloud native design patterns and domain driven designs
• Consulting experience preferred with delivery experience across a diverse business portfolio
• Proven track record working across large cross-functional teams
• Experience in matrix management and strong communication skills
• Motivated, engaged change agent that drives business value through technology advances.
• Developed and executed tactical and strategic architectural solutions for seamless integration of the cloud infrastructure with the existing IT platforms.
• Experience in leading architecture teams and defining enterprise architectures.
• Build resilient and reusable Microservices & API using latest technologies and patterns
