Job Description: To provide technical support by maintaining and enhancing consistent quality of packaging products and processes, in support of the Company’s product strategy. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate about performance, solution-driven, creative and will have the high energy level required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment. Job Responsibilities: To maintain, communicate and issue standards and product specifications To amend existing packaging design/artwork in accordance with company standards To accurately assess packaging products against company standards and specifications in accordance with the critical path to ensure consistent compliance across all departments and suppliers To review and provide insights regarding necessary product specification adjustments in accordance with Company strategy Job Requirements: Business critical path – buying cycle Departmental (Product technology) processes and standards Packaging supplier base knowledge (capabilities and areas of specialisation) Excellent command of the English language, verbally and in writing Relevant legislation (e.g. Country of Origin Labelling Act) Business processes (S.O.P.’s) Knowledge of SABS standards (area specific) The ability to communicate business expectations effectively to suppliers and technical information to non-technical audiences Effectively represent the company to external customers, suppliers and stakeholders Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills Job Details: Company: Ackermans Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kuils River, Western Cape, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here jobstrivia.net
